Kyle hesitated, glancing around at the environment and doing a quick and automatic mental assessment of the risk. Grabbing a drink with a vampire definitely hadn't been on his list of plans for tonight, but he couldn't help but be drawn to and want to help her. She already refused to feed on humans. If he could get her to leave the Nest, then maybe there could be hope for her.
"You buying?" He teased, another automatic process. Kyle nodded, returning his hands to his pockets and turning to face out and away from them as a gesture for her to lead the way. Or at least to walk beside him to wherever she wanted to go. It was a very deliberate act of trust to allow her to choose the establishment and he really hoped it wasn't going to bite him in the ass.
